On Friday 6th November, S3(Yr5) led the School in a poignant and socially-distanced service to commemorate our forty six past pupils who were lost in the First and Second World Wars.
Particularly remembered were Lt. Henry Schofield (Indian Army) on the hundredth anniversary of his death and Flt. Lt. Guy Agard-Butler (Fleet Air Arm) on the seventy fifth anniversary of his death.
The final stone tablet to be placed in our Via Sacre, engraved for Henry Schofield (making twenty two in all) completes a five year school research project commemorating the lives, service and untimely deaths of our ‘Lost Boys’ from the Great War, over the period 1915-1920.
