Scholarships

Regrettably, due to full classes in our current Yr 3 cohort, we are unable to offer any Rosedale Educational Trust Scholarships this academic year 2023 – 2024.

The Rosedale Educational Trust, in conjunction with Merton Court School, offers a limited number of full fees scholarships to children, not currently attending Merton Court School, who show strong academic and/or sporting potential.

Merton Court Preparatory School in Sidcup is a 3-11 years Independent, Co-educational Day School with approximately 320 pupils, on a beautiful 17 acre site.

Testing takes place in February, at Merton Court School. Applicants are required to sit an assessment (in Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning and Maths) along with a short interview. If a child has particular skills or talents, these should be included on application.

These ‘Rosedale Trust’ Scholarships will cover full fees and include a uniform allowance.

Local advertisements are placed and details available on our school website at the start of a Spring Term. Applications are invited in the January of a child’s Yr 3 academic year and successful entrants may commence at the School from either Summer (Yr 3) or Autumn Term (Yr 4).

Applications are made via email or by post to:
