I thought it would be such fun
When lockdown had begun
No Sport, no stress, no school
Just chilling would be so cool

Empty streets, no human in sight
Staying indoors, both day and night
Clapping every Thursday at 8
We promised we would not be late

And life was really not the same
Faces on Zoom or Skype or Teams
Shattered through my relaxing dreams

Oh my gosh, it’s challenging this way!
Fancy Dress over a video call
Spaced themed it was, a bit of fun for all

After a while the fun faded away
And I wished it was a normal day
Over these 3 months I have missed my friends
I’ll be so ecstatic when lockdown ends
