Harvest 2017

Senior Choir Goodall: Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want;
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
He leadeth me beside the still waters.

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want;
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil:
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil:
For you are with me, you will comfort me,
You are with me, you will comfort me,
Comfort me.

Surly goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:
And I will dwell in the house of the lord for ever,
For ever, for ever, for ever.

Congregation Praise and thanksgiving,

Praise and thanksgiving,
Father we offer,
for all things living
you have made good;
Harvest of sown fields,
fruits of the orchard,
hay from the mown fields,
blossom and wood.

Lord, bless the labour
we bring to serve you,
that with our neighbour
we may be fed.
Sowing or tilling,
we would work with you;
harvesting, milling,
for daily bread.

Praise and thanksgiving,
Father we offer,
for all things living
you have made good;
Harvest of sown fields,
fruits of the orchard,
hay from the mown fields,
blossom and wood.

Junior School There are hundreds of sparrows,

There are hundreds of sparrows,
thousands, millions,
They’re two a penny,
Far too many, there must be;
There are hundreds and thousands,
Millions of sparrows,
But God knows ev’ry-one
And God knows me.

There are hundreds of flowers,
thousands, millions,
and flowers fair the medows
wear for all to see,
There are hundreds and thousands,
Millions of flowers,
But God knows ev’ry-one
And God knows me.

There are hundreds of sparrows,
thousands, millions,
They’re two a penny,
Far too many, there must be;
There are hundreds and thousands,
Millions of sparrows,
But God knows ev’ry-one
And God knows me.

Senior Choir Rutter: Look at the world

Look at the world, ev’rything all around us:
Look at the world, and marvel ev’ry day.
Look at the world: so many joys and wonders,
So many miracles along our way.

Praise to thee, O Lord, for all creation,
Give us thankful hearts, that we may see:
All the gifts we share, and ev’ry blessing,
All things come of thee.

Look at the earth bringing forth fruit and flower;
Look at the sky, the sunshine and the rain;
Look at the hills, look at the trees and mountains,
Valley and flowing rivier, field and plain.

Refrain

Think of the spring, think of the warmth of summer,
Bringing the harvest before winter’s cold.
Everything grows, ev’rything has a season,
‘Till it is gathered to the Father’s fold:

Praise to thee, O Lord, for all creation,
Give us thankful hearts, that we may see:
All the gifts we share, and ev’ry blessing,
All things come of thee. All things come of thee.
Senior School Creation sings!

Creation sings! Each plant and tree,
each bird and beast in harmony;
the brightest star, the smallest cell,
God’s tender care and glory tell -
from ocean depths to mountain peaks,
in praise of God, creation speaks!

Creation speaks a message true,
reminds us we are creatures, too;
to serve as stewards is our role,
despite our dreams of full control -
when we disparage what God owns,
in turmoil, all creation groans.

Junior Choir God Created them all

Sun and the moon and the starlit sky,
God created them all.
Rivers and seas and the ocean wide,
He created them all.
Forests and fields and the deserts dry,
God created them all.
Valleys and foot-hills amd mountains high,
He created them all.

Chorus
God looked down from heaven,
He was pleased. Oh yeah!
Ev’rything was just as it should be,
Ah ha!

Summer and autumn and winter, spring,
God created them all.
Each of the changes the seasons bring,
He created them all.
Thunder and lightning, the wind and rain,
God created them all
Glorious sunsets and snowy scenes,
He created them all.

Chorus
God looked down from heaven,
He was pleased. Oh yeah!
Ev’rything was just as it should be,
Ah ha!
God created the whole wide world,
He created it all.

Whole School Think of the world without any flowers

Think of a world without any flowers,

We thank You, Lord, for flow’rs and trees and sunshine,
We thank You, Lord, and praise your holy name.

Think of a world without any animals,
Think of a world without any herd,
Think of a stream without any fishes,
Think of a dawn without any bird.
We thank You, Lord, for all Your living creatures,
We thank You, Lord, and praise Your holy name.

Think of a world without any flowers,
Think of a world without any trees,
Think of a sky without any sunshine,

Congregation When God made the garden of creation

When God made the garden of creation,
He filled it full of His love;
When god made the garden of creation,
He saw that it was good.
There’s room for you, and room for me,
And room for ev’ryone.
For God is a father who loves His children,
And gives them a place in the sun.
When God made the garden of creation,
He filled it full of His love.

When God made the hamper of creation,
He filled of full of His love;
When God made the hamper of creation,
He saw that it was good.
There’s food for you, and food for me,
And food for ev’ryone.
But man is so greedy and wastes God’s bounty,
That some won’t get any at all.
When God made the hamper of creation,
He filled of full of His love.

When God made the garden of creation,
He filled of full of His love;
When God made the garden of creation,
He saw that it was good.
There’s room for you, and room for me,
And room for ev’ryone.
For God is the father who loves His children,
And gives them a place in the sun.
When God made the garden of creation,
He filled of full of His love.
Congregation All creatures of our God and King

All creatures of our God and king
Lift up your voice and with us sing,
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Thou burning sun with golden beam,
Thou silver moon with softer gleam!
Refrain
O praise Him! O praise Him!
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
Thou flowing water, pure and clear,
Make music for thy Lord to hear,
O praise Him! Alleluia!
Thou fire so masterful and bright,
That givest man both warmth and light.
Refrain
Dear mother earth, who day by day
Unfoldest blessings on our way,
O praise Him! Alleluia!
The flowers and fruits that in thee grow,
Let them His glory also show.
