Our chosen charity this term is DMT Dachshund Rescue & Support Group. It is a small charity based in Scotland who rescue dachshunds from Asia. They have already rescued over 100 dachshunds as well as helping other breeds. The charity is run entirely by volunteers and every penny raised is used for vet bills, boarding, food costs and transport to the UK. The children had a fantastic day dressing up in dachshund fashion and were also lucky enough to meet some dachshunds! It was a lovely day and more importantly we raised over £500. Thank you for your kind generosity, the DMT team are over the moon.
