Our second workshop was for our KS2 children who participated in an amazing workshop called ‘Explorer Dome – Voyage Inside the Brain.’ The workshop provided a stimulating way to learn more about the human body and cells. It was a brand-new show exploring memory, health and dementia, which was developed with neuroscientists from Bristol University. During the show, the dome was transformed into a giant brain so the children could gain an insight into how the different parts of the brain and the nervous system worked. They also learnt about what happens to the brain when we sleep, and the importance of healthy choices for a healthy body and brain for life! One of our S4 (Yr 6) children said “It was the best science workshop ever”.
