We were delighted to enjoy a visit from the Mayor of Bexley, Sue Gower, MBE JP, who is also a member of our Advisory Board. She was in school to talk about the incredibly important work she does as Justice of the Peace, as part of our ongoing democracy and British values focus. And just to finish the day off, our Leadership Team enjoyed a fantastic dinner at Twin Palace Chinese Restaurant in Bexleyheath as part of the Mayor of Bexley’s celebration of Chinese New Year – Happy Snake Year! Our Leadership Team were thoroughly entertained by the amazing Pak Mei Kung Fu lion dance troop – so noisy but such fun – Mrs Meehan was nearly eaten by the lion but luckily was rescued by offering luck money and bok choi!
