01 Jul S1 Visit to The National Gallery, London

S1 had a fantastic day out at the National Gallery in London where they explored the work of Georges Seurat and other post-impressionist artist, favourites including discovering Miss La La by Edar Degas and Water Lillies by Monet. The highlight was a workshop led by the gallery educators where the children (and adults) learned so much about the paintings. The sun shined for S1 enabling them to enjoy a picnic while listening to West End Live! What a day! Many thanks to the parents for all their help!
