S2 started the Summer term by visiting Hilltop Activity Centre, near Sheringham in Norfolk. This was the children’s first residential school trip – we had two days of activities and an overnight stay. The children got to experience archery, team building games, a zip wire, super swing, caving and crate stacking. We also had an evening coastal walk, with ice cream! The children had a fun experience but also developed their ‘soft skills’: curiosity, empathy, collaboration and creative problem solving. They also developed their independence and resilience. It was a brilliant trip!
