S3 Residential to France

S3 Residential to France

Our Autumn terstarted with our S3’s (Yr 5) embarking on their annual school residential trip to France. It was a fantastic and memorable experience, giving pupils the opportunity to explore a range of significant sites linked to the Great Wars. During our visit, we explored Talbot House and the Bayernwald Trenches, learning more about the experiences of soldiers and the conditions they faced. We also visited the historic city of Ypres and attended the moving Menin Gate Ceremony, providing pupils with an unforgettable opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices made by those who served.

To top off an already fantastic trip, we visited Nausicaá Sea Life Centre, where pupils enjoyed discovering the incredible variety of marine life and exploring the impressive exhibits. The residential was a wonderful combination of history, learning and adventure, and we are incredibly proud of the pupils for their excellent behaviour and enthusiasm throughout the trip.
