11 Jul Merton Court Charity Golf Day at Royal Blackheath Golf Club

On Friday 5th July Merton Court resurrected the annual charity golf day. This has not taken place for a good few years, and was a roaring success. The day started a little wet but that did not dampen the spirits of all 20 players. The weather was then kind to us, and the course set everyone a challenge, lots of hidden dykes and unfortunately placed bunkers!
Several prizes were won, including:
Overall winner – David Kang
Longest drive – Lewis Cousins
Nearest the pin – Joseph Mason
Shortest drive off the first – Murry Jahaj
It was a thoroughly enjoyable day where lots of new acquaintances were made.
We would like to again thank Joseph Mason for very kindly donating the green fees.
