18 Dec Royal Naval Association Dinner – Sunday 15 December
Merton Court has always had a long standing link with the Royal British Legion and particularly the Royal Naval Association, in particular Foots Cray and Sidcup branch. Every year S3 (Year 5) take our colours to France and Belgium on our Battlefield tour of cemeteries and monuments. Unfortunately at Remembrance Service this year, one of our flag bearer’s belts broke and we had to look for a replacement. The Royal Naval Association at the United Services Club got wind of this and invited Dominic and Sarah Price to their annual dinner, where they presented a lovely brand new brass-buckled colours holster to replace our broken one.
