The children in EY and J1 enjoyed a visit from the Ruxley Beekeepers. They learnt how the worker bees look after their queen, what the world looks like through a bee’s eyes and how delicious fresh honey tastes! They were also able to see a frame of bees in action, from one of our own Merton Court hives. Thank you very much to David Rea and his team!
It was the turn of children in J2, J3 and S1 to have a visit from the Ruxley Beekeepers this week. They tasted fresh local honey, tried on beekeeper suits, wore bee glasses and saw a frame of bees in action, from one of our own Merton Court hives. Thank you again to David Rea and his team!
