26 Apr S2 Residential Trip – Hilltop Norfolk
S2’s first residential trip to Hilltop Outdoor Centre on the North Norfolk Coast was fantastic. The weather was sunny and more importantly dry, throughout the two days.
The children enjoyed activities such as climbing, archery, crate stacking, super-swing and the small zip wire. The climbing wall offered eight levels of difficulty and so many children took the Hilltop motto of ‘Challenge by Choice’ to heart, choosing to push the boundaries of their own comfort and exceed their own expectations by climbing a little higher and a little higher still. The super-swing was the highlight for most of the children. They laughed, listened, collaborated, trembled, and most notably encouraged their peers.
The children represented Merton Court very well indeed – their behaviour, manners and resilience was noted by all the instructors.
We all had a great time making lots of memories together.
