14 Jun S4 Challenge Week
As part of S4 Leadership & Challenge Week One the children took part in a Home Skills Challenge morning. Under the watchful eyes of Mr Price, Mrs Clarke, Mrs Magill and Mr Barley, they had to prepare a three-course meal that they would later eat for lunch. To start was a prawn cocktail, followed by a pizza for main and an Oreo trifle for dessert. The children were also taught how to iron and sew – valuable skills which all the children really enjoyed. Many thanks to the parents who came in to help out.
S4 has also begun to plan for the Business Challenge – generating profit from in-school activities to support our chosen charity this term. The children have also made shelters in Forest School and used augmented reality to explore Merton Court in an ICT Challenge.
