06 Mar Science Week – Pet Day
On Friday, 28th February we held our exciting event, Pet Day, as part of the Science Week. The children from EY to S4 had the opportunity to enter their pet in a competition. Escorted by their parents, the animals, great and small, gathered together in the hall to be measured against each other. It was a very difficult task to select the winner, as each of the eight categories had some wonderful representatives, who were quite frankly all winners in their own right. Nevertheless, one pet from each group was named as a winner, and was invited back to the Parade in the afternoon the meet the whole school. The overall winner of the show was a beautiful tom cat called, Leo. The runner up prize went an impressive looking python named, Smarty. Thank you everyone who supported the event and provided us with some unforgettable memories.
